Z. LEWIS – DOWN FT DON DIESTRO
(ADPD STUDIOS)

One of 2020’s most outlandish videos opens with Hackney / Aus emcee Z. LEWIS sitting in a bathtub full of salad. From this point the strange atmosphere of the clip continues to intensify with him sharing a meal with his clones and being involved in an odd robbery on the streets of Melbourne. Incredible colour palettes in numerous scenes show that he is on the rise both as a rapper and creative.

JAZZ NOBODI – TALL POPPY

The self-acclaimed “Polynesian TDE”, the latest Planet Vegeta member to go solo, Jazz NOBODI makes a bold statement with a commanding flow pattern from the outset. Cleverly directed in an appropriate black and white aesthetic to address the age old Australian “tall poppy syndrome”. This guy is going to be one to keep an eye on.

SNOEE BADMAN X VINSINS X HUSKII – NEVER FREE

While drill is dominating the sonic and aesthetic of every corner of the Australian rap scene, there’s not many more credentialed than the three featured on this track. A power punch of grimey storytelling, wordplay and raw, unfiltered bars from Snoee Badman, Vinsins and Huskii. This is a NSW mega-link-up supported by a top tier animated visual. Expect this to run up massive numbers.

LAWD LANCE – AROUND HERE REMIX FT NOKZ78 & TH4 W3ST
(MAVERICK VISUALS / RUFF POPS)

The boys from Goodna simply can’t miss lately, this time giving Lawd Lance‘s “Around Here” the remix treatment featuring fellow rising Queenslander Nokz78. Never short of a bar, there’s a unique energy and chemistry around this clique, proudly putting on for their area and inspiring the youngins in their community.

KWAME – TOMMY’S IN TROUBLE FT CLYPSO & PHIL FRESH
(KWAME / ZAIN AYUB)

Sydney’s Kwame continues to deliver creative artistry at the highest level in Australia, this time in a directorial role on the visual film for latest single “Tommy’s In Trouble.” Using his platform to initiate commentary on social issues, both from his own experience and globally he states that the latest offering is; a film that represents the internal struggle of an individual against society’s oppressions and degradation of an individuals rights and freedoms.”

Curated by Frank Tremain and Matthew Craig.
