NYUON is BACK PEOPLE, the 22y/o humble space master from Melbourne who is blowing us away with every release has got a brand new single AND music video comin’ atcha today exclusivley through AUD’$ – ‘Top Dwn‘ Prod. B2 & NYUON. Providing an incredibly catchy vibe with effortlessly cool delivery is just the surface of what NYUON does, inate lyricism and sociopolitical commentary is what you’ll find if you look for it.

We got NYUON to Genius a couple of bars for you:
“What do you mean I got chains at the start line
And I can’t start running until it’s half time”
Meaning black people have a handicap at the start of life.
“When I start it’s a real steep incline
And I gotta do this for my life time”

While everybody else is running a fairly even race, when black people start they are running up an incline, so they have to work twice as hard throughout their whole lives.

NYUON’s career really kicked off in 2015, he was entered into the Melbourne Music Bank competition by a friend and was alsolutely blown away when he recieved the most public votes. He saw people responding positivly to his music and ran with it releasing ‘Your City‘, then his debut EP ‘By Myself‘ soon after. Fast forward to his last AUD$ feature two months ago ‘Space Master‘ in July, and his recent appearance playing at a Converse sponsored event held by F.A.M w/ Manu Crooks in Melbourne, NYUON stays doing the least with each of his moves well spaced and calculated. His come up, getting more real by the day.

“Oh my goody God, someone get the Lord
I mean do you mind if I praise the lord for a second
I know that I’ve been flawed for a second
Man I want to talk to God for a second
And I’ve been with my squad for a second and we’ve been going hard”
