Happy Friday Ca$hies! Today’s Ca$h comes from the dons of Hip Hop, Remi. The Melbourne duo’s latest single “My People”, featuring the beautiful Thando, and is Remi and Sensible J’s first single since their 2016 album “Divas and Demons”.

“My People” is fundamental Remi – a blend of soul and hip-hop, a beat that captures you straight away, and rhymes on point. The track covers topics such as diversity and family, encapsulating what it means to be part of a broader community. “The most beautiful thing about this song, is that it was about family and I got to create it with family,” Kolawole said of “My People”.

An impressive part of the release of “My People” is the video clip. The video is a stunning montage of vibrant colours and people, directed by fellow Melbourne MC Baro. The clip features cameos from the who’s who of the music scene in Australia, and was sponsored by Champion for their five-part series, titled Revealed.
