Following her breakout track ‘Bussit’, Vv Pete returns with her sophomore single ‘Frauds’. For fans of Stefflon Don and BIA, Mount Druitt-based Sudanese rapper is causing havoc in her debut year. The ominous and roaring grime and drill track is co-produced by Trackwork label founder Utility and Berlin-based producer Cassius Select. CVIRO & GXNXVS – TOO MUCH
(Directed by Trav Leslie, George Dooley and C&G)

Marking the pair’s debut on Red Bull Records, R&B singer and producer duo CVIRO & GXNXVS deliver visuals for ‘Too Much’. Co-produced by UNO Stereo, the new single is stripped from their 7-track EP COME ON IN including previous release ‘Nasty’ featuring Jean Deaux. After a quiet 2021, CVIRO & GXNXVS have followed up The Sequel (2020) and continued to flawlessly combine 90s R&B and soul like it’s nobody’s business. ‘Too Much’ is accompanied with a music video directed by Trav Leslie, George Dooley and C&G themselves. The two creatives have been pivotal to R&B in Australia since their debut together eight years ago and its all leading to their debut album in the works.

SKEM – CLOUDY WITH A CHANCE

Skem strikes on ‘cloudy with a chance’, proving once more why he’s one of the country’s most earnest lyricists. Produced by MUTO, the acoustic guitar and trap instrumental finds the Sydney-based artist rapping about past love and giving thanks to those closest to him during his darkest days. Co-directed by Kota, the music video is shot by Markus Sternecker and AJR Films, featuring brief appearances from Chillinit and Huskii. Following his last single ‘Not In The Blueprint’, Skem continues to deliver uncompromising honesty and refreshing vulnerability on every release.

The accompanying visuals of ‘OH BABY’ are directed by Ez Eldin Deng and illustrates his past relationship from both the sincere memories to the moments of heartbreak. The track follows the South Sudan-born artist’s last release ‘Today’ and teases an exciting 12 months with a stack of new Afrobeats and trap singles on the way.
