A few months ago via Life Without Andy, West Syd’s WVS alumni Elijah Yo dropped the visual for “Missed Calls.” The record is a beauty birthed from tragedy. Having lost a high-school friend in 2016, seeing a devastating pattern of suicide in his community first hand, Elijah hopes that with this he can help to contribute to suicide prevention in the future. Brutally honest and confronting, all while disarmingly down-tempo. This track is pulled from Elijahs debut mixtape “B Side“, due for release May 9 🔥.
