ICON SOUTH x NEKO SAVVY – IF SO
Bright, melodic Soundcloud vibes here from Icon South and Neko Savvy. Coming out of LA this is a feel-good teenage autotune number a’la early Lil Yachty or MadeInTyo. Damn catchy hook.
LEROCQUE x ALEJANDRO REYES – ASESINA
A unique blend of Latin and UK influences from Portugese based artist Lerocque on his new collab with Chile’s Alejandro Reyes. Afrobeat rhythms and a fusion of English and Spanish lyrics will have you tapping away to this empowerment anthem.
BUNDY GOODZ – LIFETIME
Jersey raps from the now Florida based Bundy Goodz. Early 2000s vibes in a Joell Ortiz lane packed full of double entendres and street narratives. One for the underground lyricists to appreciate.
RICH CAVIAR – RUSO
Russian-American emcee Rich Caviar returns with ‘Ruso’ this time showcasing his dexterity over a Dominican Dembow/Reggaeton type instrumental. Probably the most impressive drop yet from the rising talent.
PRINCE NAVON – MISS ME
Raised in Charlotte, North Carolina, 15-year old emcee Prince Navon has a cadence and rhythmic patterns that has instantly drawn comparisons with a young Travis Scott. Tasty melodies delivered with a confidence and maturity ahead of his time, having caught the eye of OG Teddy Riley, the sky is the limit for this cat.
RUTH KOLEVA – TOKYO (KAIDI TATHAM REMIX)
Bulgarian-born now NYC based singer-songwriter Ruth Koleva is fast gaining acclaim across the globe from names including Mark Ronson. Crisp vocals in a neo-soul, nu-jazz realm, ‘Tokyo’ is the latest release which has just been given the remix treatment by UK legend Kaidi Tatham. If you enjoy Paloma Faith or The Internet you’ll vibe with this one.
GUWOP REIGN – DEMEANOR
Boston-born now Atlanta based recording artist Guwop Reign comes through with“Demeanor” an autotune trap offering which will draw comparisons to Roddy Ricch. Having already scored endorsements from Lyrical Lemonade and Daily Chiefers the 16-year old emcee will be one to watch into the near future as he leads to his debut EP.
