Muti-disciplined Canadian talent Isaac Zale has been on a run lately with a string of endorsements and major collabs under his belt. Latest drop ‘Thru The Glass’ is full of bouncy, feel-good vibes somewhere between hip-hop and neo-soul. We’re about it.
ENIMEEZY – YOU GOT THAT THANG
Enimeezy, the LA based artist formally known as Enimal, is one of the most infectiously melodic songwriters on the West Coast. Having worked with everyone from Kendrick Lamar through to Pharrell, he’s got a massive resume and has channeled years of growth into a brand new quick-fire EP ‘Locked In 2‘. Our fav joint off the tape is the club banger ‘You Got That Thang’ co-produced by AUD’$ affiliate Willy Beamin.
7XVETHEGENIUS – BREAK SOUL
Earmarked as an emcee to watch is Buffalo’s 7xvethegenius (pronounced Love The Genius). Recently signing to Conway The Machine‘s Drumwork Music Group, she’s making her mark with artistic expression amongst the gitty, Griselda driven sounds of north-west NY state. A powerful pen and intricate flows, keep it locked.
DAVID DALLAS – 42 BELOW
NZ rap OG D Dot Dallas returns from a four year hiatus with gentle earworm ‘’42 Below’. A delicious, vibey hook and iconic Kiwi flows mark the self acclaimed ‘Version 2.0’ from the Auckland based artist. We can only hope this is a sign of more to come.
ZION B – TEARS FT. SARIAH ROWE
18 year old South-East London talent Zion B burst onto the UK scene in 2018 with ‘Movin’ and has since built a steady catalogue mixing autotuned melodic runs with reflective storytelling. ‘Tears’ is the fresh collab with Sariah Rowe and is a smokey chiller built over tasty sliding 808s.
