In 2018 the first ever ‘AUS/NY Hip-Hop Exchange’ will occur.

‘The Australian / New York Hip-Hop Exchange’ will send an American artist (Brooklyn, NYC – Truthcity) to tour the east coast of Australia, performing live shows and taking part in networking sessions intended to educate local artists on foreign methods of production, publicity etc. Upon the conclusion of this tour, 2 Australian artists will fly to NYC and engage in a tour of the city, surrounding states, and involve themselves in similar networking sessions.

We don’t need to tell you, this is huge.

Founded by Scott Hudson (formerly Baked Goods), Knapsack is a green organisation, dedicated to the development of artists in the music industry, Knapsack prides themselves on offering a variety of outlets to nourish new talent, and they always come thru.

This exchange program will open up networks for collaboration, development and other innovative business.” – Knapsack

In the lead-up to this, Knapsack is putting on FOUR massive fundraising shows in order to fuel the fire and fund the Hip Hop Exchange in 2018.
