Named after the seminal manga and anime and with iconic artwork to match, AKIRA is a song full of quiet moments, which only serve to emphasise the minimal, yet jarring bass drops. Cult Shøtta spits game over the sparkly arpeggios; “Shit is flames, Molotov, like/ You doing well brother, mazel tov/ It’s holocaust to your fake followers”
The inclusion of Cult Shøtta on the producer’s latest single has allowed the producer to experiment with a more minimalistic style, without sacrificing quality. We love it.
